August 17th was the 30th annual Kingston Artists Soapbox Derby, one of the Hudson Valley’s most creative and colorful community events. Hundreds gathered on Broadway in Kingston, NY to cheer on the handmade soapbox cars, costumes, and artistry.

I was fortunate to be one of the volunteer photographers for this year’s event — this year was a first for me. I’m excited to share this photo gallery — browse through the pictures, find your favorite moments, and relive the excitement of the Kingston Artists Soapbox Derby!
